The Cascades Country Club, originally named Briarwood Golf Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located on the shores of Lake Bellwood, just minutes from Tyler, Texas.
The course first opened for play in 1956. It was designed and constructed by a group of World War II veterans.
A multi-million dollar restoration by PGA Tour Player Mark Hayes was completed in 2002. The result is a championship par-71, 6,944-yard layout that fits seamlessly into the surrounding terrain.
